Order & Shipping
If you made your order before 13.00 CET, your order will most likely be shipped the same day or the day after.
We offer tracked & insured shipping, and express shipping. With tracked shipment, please allow 1-2 working days within Sweden, 4-8 working days to Europe, and to the rest of the world between 6-12 working days, depending on where you are located.
We believe in making as little damage as possible to our environment, therefore we prefer to ship using ground freight instead of air freight. When it comes to us having to use air freight due to distance, we Co2-compensate via tree planting in the Andees (where it is most needed). We ship all our jewellery from Sweden.
If you contact us soon after placing it, either through our chat or by emailing support@freyathor.com we'll be happy to help. If your order has already been shipped, simply return it upon arrival.
Once your order is on its way, we'll send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey to you.
We ship worldwide.
Are you from the Middle East or Africa? We can experience difficulty to ship to parts of the Middle East & Africa since addresses sometimes can be unclear or unspecific.
We cannot stress enough the importance of stating your address, mobile phone and e-mail in a very clear and accurate way.
Returns & Refunds
We offer a very generous 90 day return policy. This is much due to the fact that many buy jewellery as a gift well in advance, and might need time for the receiver to receive and decide to keep or change.
Send it back to us within 90 days (non-used, with the white tag not removed, in the box). A refund is to be expected within the next business day after we have received the package. To exchange, please email: support@freyathor.com for further guidance. Please notice that the cost of shipping the jewellery piece(s) back to us is yours (including customs charges (if applicable)). Please always state your order number when in contact with our support.
If you require a different size or item, please reach out to our customer care team at support@freyathor.com for assistance.
This is most likely due to that it hasn’t reached us yet, or there is an issue with the return. Please reach out to our support team again (or check spam box, since we most probably already tried to reach you). It is important that you return the item with traceable and insured shipping, please let us know the tracking number.
Jewellery Product Care
All Freya & Thor jewellery are handmade in recycled materials, with 935 Sterling Silver as our main metal of use. For our gold pieces, they are plated with 24 carat Gold - ensuring the highest quality.
The jewellery is crafted in our local foundry just outside Stockholm. This choice not only guarantees the highest sustainable quality but also enables us to be sure of our ethics, since we will be able to maintain fair working conditions, and a close relationship with our skilled artisans.

Gentle cleaning:
Please make sure to regularly clean your jewellery to remove oil, dust or contamination. Use simple, non-abrasive materials & specific products. Be careful not to scrub or to over-handle your jewellery (especially gold plated jewellery). Silver-dip type cleaners should only be used to clean silver jewellery, which must be rinsed & dried thoroughly afterwards. Gold & plated jewellery can be cleaned using specialist jewellery cleaners, as appropriate. Black rhodium should only be cleaned by using very fair fluid, and be extra careful not using metal on the black rhodium.
Wearing:
We recommend that you put your jewellery on after applying makeup & getting dressed in the morning & then to take it off at night before going to bed. Physically demanding activities may cause unnecessary wear to a piece of jewellery – so we recommend that you always make sure to take off your jewellery before physical house & garden work, cooking, swimming, bathing and sports activities.
Store separately:
Think about how you store your pieces, plated pieces should not go together with other harder pieces since they will easily get scratched. Your jewellery should be stored away from direct sunlight, damp, & extremes of either heat or cold. Specially designed jewellery boxes, like the Thor of Sweden boxes, with soft-lined, purpose built compartments are preferred for storage. Otherwise, try to keep the jewellery in the original boxes and packaging, as it is the easiest way to protect it from dust and damage.
Keep away from contamination:
Keep your accessories away from water and chemical agents to avoid discolouration and tarnishing. Many soaps, cosmetics, perfumes, and cooking grease can dull and/or damage any jewellery and should be avoided. Long term exposure to natural skin oils can also dull pieces, which is why we recommend removing jewellery overnight. If your jewellery do come into contact with any chemicals, use a dry soft tissue or towel to gently pat them dry.
Repairs:
Your Freya & Thor of Sweden jewellery can be updated & repaired: some of our pieces can be updated by giving new plating. Dirt, marks, blemishes, or scratches acquired through age or everyday wear can easily be removed to return a treasured piece to its former glory. Please contact us at support@freyathor.com to know if your Freya & Thor of Sweden piece can be updated, and what the quote is. The normal average cost is €30 plus shipping and customs charges (if applicable).
Like any & all jewellery we recommend that you avoid water, & especially salt water since this wears out jewellery overall, both rings, necklaces, bracelets & earrings. But if you forget to remove the jewellery when having a shower, that is not the end of the world.
Regarding scratches. As all jewellery, you have to use the pieces carefully. We use precious metals in high quality (high percentage of the complete metal is silver or gold), which gives the piece extra shine, glister & a high-end feeling, but also makes the jewellery sightly softer.
A special remark goes for the oxidised silver and gold plated silver, which is more sensitive. The plated or oxidised silver has the perfect look from the start. It is important that you stay away from using these pieces together with other hard metals or things that could scratch or knock the piece. When getting marks & general wearing, the plating &/or oxidisation will gradually wear off, and/or increase in some parts (in regard to oxidisation). We know that many customers like the “rawness” and “patina” in the wearing, and that especially the oxid silver pieces changes over time, but it is important for all customers to be aware of this.
